Paul McCartney’s RAM came out this week in the US on May 17th, 1971…Also this week 6 years later in 1977 an album was released by Percy “Thrills” Thrillington a pseudonym for Paul McCartney, Thrillington was an instrumental version of RAM recorded 2 months after the original RAM session finished. Ironically the album was orchestrated by the same guy, Richard Hewson who was hired by Phil Spector to orchestrate Paul’s The Long and Winding Road.
